Your wool scarf can be machine-washed: choose a short cycle at 30°, using a detergent for delicates. If you can, put your scarf in a pillowcase that will protect your accessory. You can also use a softener, it will make your wool shine and feel softer. Don't use a dryer but mop your scarf by putting it in a cotton cloth without wrinkling and let it dry at room temperature.
It is possible to iron your wool scarf but only at very low temperatures, or at normal temperature with a towel laid over to protect it.
Those bits of advice only apply if you want to wash your scarf yourself. If you are afraid of making a mistake, your best ally will be a trusted dry cleaner that will take great care of your accessory.
