Fragile and delicate material, the silk washes himself under cold conditions and in the hand. If you prefer to make it in washing machine, prefer a short cycle in 30 °, by using a washing powder delicate textiles.
The pocket square must be pressed on no account or go to the tumble-dryer. Mop it in putting it in a linen without ever creasing it and make it air-dry free.
It is possible to hand on the silk but only to very low temperature, or to low temperature with a composed bath towel over to protect it.
Naturally, the simplest solution for the maintenance of your pocket square is: the steam-pressing.
